Hotel Raga, this is a family hotel on the Lido, a few minutes stroll from the famous Reid’s hotel, it is a family owned property completely refurbished a few years ago, you have all the facilities of the Lido on your doorstep and Funchal is only a stroll or taxi drive away. Bus services are frequent, the value in Madeira is great, food is a mixture of Portuguese and Mediterranean, well worth a try and great value, try Casa Velha, they have a wide range of fish including the local scabbard fish and great meat all at affordable prices.
